Elsie is Three Months Old!

 Don't you just love her crazy hair on top! It makes me smile/laugh.

Over the past month, Elsie went from a newborn to a constantly (will almost constantly) smiling infant. She has grown so much this past month. She quickly surpassed 3 month clothing (sad) and now she's in 6 months clothes. What the?! My baby is growing too fast! She is 25 1/2 inches as of today. She's grown 3/4 inches over the past month. I don't know how much she weighs cause I'm trying not to give into owning a scale, but she was 13 lbs 1oz at 2 months. I can imagine she's gained at least another pound or two. Elsie has improved her sleeping from last month. When she's not going through a growth spurt, she can do a 4-5 hour stretch at night (sometimes 6). She was eating 3 times at night for about 2 weeks up until a few days ago which was really hard for me. Now she eats once in the middle of the night and then again at about 6 or 7 in the morning. I can live with that! Now onto pictures!

 My ever smiling girl. Seriously love love love how much she smiles at us. And this girl loves to sit up. Like ALL THE TIME!

 She loves Janen and Janen loves her. It makes them both happy to spend some time on the floor.

I realize this picture is blurry (sorry about that) but I thought this illustrated well just how much Elsie loves the bumbo. Janen didn't really care for it for a long time so this is new for me. Elsie prefers to sit up in it a lot. Sometimes when I'm trying to get a chore done, I'll put her in Janen's room with her and Janen will entertain her by showing/teaching her shapes and showing Elsie her toys. I love that Janen is capable of teaching Elsie too!
