Update (what a lame title)

Since my last rant I am doing much better. I went to the doctor a little over a week ago and found that I lost 5 pounds from the morning sickness. Trust me, it wasn't from exercise. I hardly do that these days because of the morning sickness. She prescribed an anti-nausea medicine and boy does it work like a charm. It's so nice not feeling nauseous any more. I am extremely grateful! There are some side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness and headaches, but I would much rather deal with that then the nausea. I feel lethargic a lot of the time so I don't do a whole lot. But made a promise to myself over a week ago that I would try to complete one important or helpful task a day. It may seem ridiculous, but it's an accomplishment for me.

Yesterday, I wanted to see if I could go with out the medicine to see where my morning sickness was at. My prescription is for one pill every 12 hours. I went the 12 and another additional 8 hours, but began to feel nauseous. So maybe I'll try again when week 14 has ended. I am a couple days away from the start of week 14 so we'll see what happens. I would like to not feel lethargic during my whole pregnancy so the sooner my body can get over the morning sickness the better!

In other news...James and I got to see Cirque Du Soleil this past Friday. We grabbed some dinner in Provo at a mexican restaurant and then headed up to West Valley for the show. We got there about an hour early because we thought we would run into traffic, but luckily we didn't. Not bad for a Friday night! The show was great and so entertaining. It was nice for us to get out and do something because I've been homebound from the pregnancy for a few weeks so he sort of stuck around too. Even though I've encouraged him to be more active and use the rock climbing pass I got him for his birthday. We'll see if he does. ;-)

That's about it for now! We're moving into our new place, a BETTER place, next week and I'm excited for that. I want to learn how to make some curtains for it. I can't wait to find out if we're having a boy or girl so I can plan for his/her room.

Til next time!
