Elsie's Blessing

Today was Elsie's blessing. We were so grateful to have friends and family come support this special occasion in Elsie's life. James gave a beautiful and inspired blessing. When it comes to giving blessings, he's pretty rad at them. :) Below are a few pictures of those who came and those who participated in the blessing itself.

I felt overwhelmed with love from my role as mother and wife, but also to have married into a wonderful and supportive family and to have had amazing people come into my life over the years that have become dear to me just like family.  I couldn't help but bear my testimony in church today, that Heavenly Father truly does hear our prayers and answers them when the time is right. I prayed earnestly for a few years that I would find a wonderful man that would see past my "broken home" issues and see me for me and the new person I had become through the gospel. Today the spirit reminded me again that Heavenly Father loves me and loves all of His children. I know that He sincerely wishes for all of His children to be happy and I'm so very grateful for that knowledge.  I'm grateful to have come so far as to get married in the temple and have two beautiful daughters born under the covenant. My family is my world. I wouldn't trade my life for anything in the world. I am one blessed woman!
