Mama's Got a Brand New Do'

After 2 years of growing out my hair I decided I was sick of it and chopped it off. I was sick of the color (even though I like having highlights, it's too much high maintenance for me) so i dyed it back brown. I also realized how much work my hair takes the longer it is and since it was time consuming, a lot of the times my hair looked disheveled with it's awkward waves or pulled back in a pony tail or bun. Now I may be somewhat low maintenance, but not enough to let nature take it's course. I like to have hair that is done and styled even if it's just blow dried and straightened. I'm not the curl your hair everyday (or every other day) type because I just don't have the patience to deal with all of my hair (really, I have a lot of it and it's thick). It took 4 hours to cut and color my hair by a professional and she even cut off 3 inches before coloring it to save on time! Even though I love the way long hair looks on me, I also love easy care maintenance while still looking polished. Make sense? So I found a picture of Anne Hathaway with shoulder length hair and decided to give it a try. So what do you think? And sorry about the bad quality. Our camera is on the fritz so i took the picture with my web cam.

  1. I like it! Personally I think you are one "Hot Momma" even when you think you look disheveled.

  5. Your hair looks great. I always liked easy care hairdos whenever I was expecting a new baby. Children require so much time, it is nice to do everything possible to make life easier.
