I know I mentioned this before, but my camera is kaput. Janen has been super cute lately and learning soo much and I'm missing out on recording it. Sure you're thinking, so what if there are a few months where you don't have pictures or video. But I totally care! And we can't/aren't getting a new one, until James gets a job. That's right, we're still looking...
My favorite new thing about Janen is how she tries to mimic some of the things I do. Like for example, she was playing in the kitchen a couple of days ago while I did dishes. She pulled out her high-chair tray from the the pantry, grabbed a hand towel off the oven door and started to clean it and said, "cleeeaaan!" She is also doing great at remembering parts of her favorite stories and saying them with me or doing the hand motions I made up to them.
Today we went on a bike ride with Janen for the first time. We lassoed her up on my back with my moby-wrap and headed around town. It was so much fun. Janen didn't like being tethered to my back at first, but once we started going, she would say, "weeee!" every time we went down-hill. Love that girl!
I know the feeling. I had about 2 months worth of pictures on my camera that I hadn't transferred when my camera was stolen when little John was right about a year old. I hope you James finds a job soon so you can get a camera.
