thoughts that have occurred recently...

When a child misses the gap for a nap you might as well kiss it good bye because they will end up taking one in between their two normal nap times and only give you one one hour nap that day. Lesson learned.

Sometimes I feel like people only talk to me so they can hold my baby and that's all they ever ask me about.

I don't mind that they want to hold my baby, but I would like to be acknowledged too.

Even though I tell myself I'm not going to leave my house messy to do homework, I just can't for very long.

I am very grateful to those who have reached out to be my friend and not just once, but multiple times. It's so refreshing to see someone reciprocate friendship. Thanks friends!

If we end up staying here in Utah for awhile because James gets a job here, then I think i will transfer to BYU. I feel like the lifestyle would be a lot more accommodating to someone with a child.

I am seriously considering doing the Body for Life 12 week challenge and would love it if someone wants to do it with me so we can keep each other on track! I have the book too! Come on, who's with me?

I seriously need to trim my bangs. for reals!

Patience is a virtue I lack at times. Like when my child won't nap...

I wish I could still dance, but I haven't been able to get into any dance classes this semester and next. There are either at a time I can't do it or already full. :(

I am determined to get straight A's this semester. It will be the first time since Elementary school, but I know it can be done. I may have to do a couple of extra credit assignments to be there, but I'm going to give it my all!

I wish I had more time to read for pleasure these days.

My favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, is fast approaching. Bring on the good food and company!

Happy to be 25 now because we can rent a car and not have to pay an underage fee. Yay!!

  2. You should see if there is a studio nearby that lets you test out their dance classes. Most will let you take one class for a $5 or $10 fee. You could try out a different class or studio each month. Or maybe try a new fun dance class at a gym? They have week long trial memberships usually. I know how you feel though.. I couldn't stand not dancing any longer and I'm in three pieces for City Dances this semester and no other classes. :P
