Five Reasons Why I Love School
1. Fulfilling a dream of mine to have a college degree and be the first in my family (extended included)
2.I feel like I am accomplishing something good that will benefit my family someday.
3.I love have something else to do instead of just taking care of Janen all day. I love her but I love my sanity too!
4. I have always enjoyed my independence and I get to go out for a few hours a week and be just me.
5. The opportunity to expand my knowledge. I love to learn!
Five Reasons Why I Don't Love School
1. I wish every class I needed to take to get my Associates was online sometimes because I don't like taking classes with 18-19 year olds. We are just on a whole different playing field.
2. I wish I didn't have to have group projects with those same 18-19 year olds because nothing gets done.
3. I would like it if they had some general classes that were for those 25 and up so I didn't have to deal with the immaturity or just lack of discipline from18-19 year olds.
4.And really, there is only one reason why I don't like college right now.
5. Because I am working hard and I'm focused/dedicated to get my degree. I'm not going to let a bunch of just out of high school kids interfere with my chance to get straight A's this semester. However, I don't want to do all the work for them and watch them get the credit.
what's a girl to do?
I feel your pain. Some people are just so immature and its so annoying. On another note, I wish I could just stay home with Logan. I would rather take care of him and do household chores then do school on top of it all. School can be so stressful. Hope school goes well with you :)
ReplyDeleteIf at all possible, see if you can take a couple evening classes. I found that when I was in school, those tending to have more serious students, and some that were older as well.
