Janen is Four Months Old Today

This was supposed to post on June 10th, but my computer wouldn't let me upload any pictures anywhere. It's time to get a new computer....when we have the money of course.

Here it is, my monthly post of the my little girls monthly milestones. Sure, none of you care about the small developments, but I do! So here's what my little girl has been up to this past month.
This was taken on her four month old birthday. She had gotten her shots earlier that day so a smile couldn't be easily persuaded

She has wanted to become independent this last week by holding her bottle more. It doesn't happen all the time, but she loves to grab at anything in her hands way.

She loves to chew on anything you put close to her face.

She is still a supported sitter and is doing better and better and staying stable and upright.

Most of the time now, she prefers to stand up. Since she was born, we have noticed how strong and determined she is. And now she lets us know what she wants by squealing and grunting.

She loves to roll onto her side and sleeps like that quite often. She can roll over from back to front now, but has yet to figure out how to do it the other way around.

And one last look at that sweet face!

At Janen's four month old appointment she was just 2 ounces shy of 16 pounds and almost 26 1/2 inches long. However, her head hasn't grown as fast as the rest of her body and the Dr is having us try to even out her head on the left side. But hopefully over the next two months it can be corrected, cause I don't want to have my poor baby wear a helmet. But luckily, it's not at that point yet, only borderline according to the Dr.
Janen continues to be a delight and laughs every now and then, but not enough for us to be able to catch it on video yet. I am anxiously waiting the day though.

  3. I've seen multiple babies with those helmets on and wondered what they were for. For evening out their heads? hmmm. Well, I too thought you hadn't posted anything in a while (since going private I guess) and whoah there was a lot to catch up on today. I'm glad you update it frequently. :)
