Our First Easter as a Family

Our first attempt at a turkey. Isn't it beautiful? It tasted great too!

We decorated some Easter Eggs!

And posed with them.

Look, Janen wanted to help holding hers! Cute!

We shaped rice krispy treats into eggs.

And dipped them in chocolate and covered them in sprinkles. They were yummy!

Janen in her cute Easter outfit!

I love that flower on her. :-)

Gotta pose with the baby. (sorry James for using this pic, but it's the only one where she wasn't super blurry)

Me and my baby girl!

Well, there you have it. Our first Easter. It was the start of a great day with general conference and cinnamon rolls. Followed by the prepping and cooking of the turkey and making yummy treats and then ending the day having dinner with family. I loved being able to spend good quality time with James without him sitting on the couch doing homework. I cherish those rare occurrences.

  2. Congratulations! Your turkey looked great and so did your rice krispie treat eggs and colored eggs. Looks like you had lots of fun. Janen looked nice in her Easter dress and flower.
