Janen is Two Months Old Today

(This was supposed to post yesterday, but blogger was being difficult)

Happy Two Months Janen!!

These past few weeks  you have grown so much! You are now a little over 23 inches and will soon be growing out of your 0-3 month clothes.

I am not sure how much you weigh now, but my guess is at least 11-12 pounds.

Tummy time is paying off! Look at your mad skills baby girl!

Last week, you started teetering to the right when I put you on your tummy. I think in the next month or so you will turn over on that side. You can hold your head up fairly well when we hold you, but you still need some assistance every now and then.

You love to stare at lights and things on the wall, but most of all you love to stare at mommy and daddy and study our faces.

You have gotten better at finding your thumbs these days. You used to just suck on your hand and move it around a lot and occasionally happen upon your thumb, but now you find it within seconds. I think it's soo cute! You don't do it very often. Only about once a day.

But one of the best things we got to witness this past month was your beautiful smile.

We're so happy that you decided to share it with us and now with the rest of the world. Cause every time I would whip out the camera to try and catch that great smile, you would desist. Luckily today, you decided to give us that sweet toothless grin long enough for me to take a picture of it.

We love you baby girl! Thank you so much for sleeping better at night now so your parents can get a better amount of sleep.Still not at an 8 hour stretch, but your longest one has been 6.5 hours with your shortest at 4.5 hours the past week and a half. Only waking up once to eat and quickly going back to bed for another 2-4 hours.
