I Did it Hooray!

Now I am by means no expert when it comes to redoing furniture, but I just couldn't stand looking at this ugly beast anymore!

My husband and I hated the handles on these things. We bough this dresser on Craigslist for I believe $20. What a steal right? Sure there was one broken drawer and a couple of the pulls were missing from the hardware, but we were ecstatic to find such a huge dresser for so cheap! With James at home now (while job searching) I was able to slip outside for a couple hours at a time while he tended to Janen and work on refinishing this dresser. I decided to distress it before really knowing how that all goes, but we decided we liked the white primer showing through. It could be lots better, but I think it looks better than it did and it adds a nice touch to our tiny bedroom.
