Yesterday, Janen had her 12 month check up. She unfortunately had to get lots of shots, but she was trooper. She had to get her toe pricked as well to test her hemoglobin levels and she didn't cry at all for that or the first and second shot. It was the last 2 that hurt her. Poor baby. Her hemoglobin levels are still at a 32 which means she is still not getting the iron her body needs, even with the drops. So we are going to continue the drops and hope that it clears up in 6 weeks. She still has a slight heart murmur, but the doctor says it's not bad enough to be a cause for concern because it could be related to the anemia.
Other than that, here's where Janen is measuring these days.
Janen at 12 months and 21 days
Weight: 22 p 1 oz --- 68th percentile
Height: 30 1/4 in --- 93 percentile
Head: 17.75 in --- 51 percentile

That is such a James face in that last picture! So adorable. We continue to pray for her, just in case. :)
