Janen's pediatrician looked at her file and he believes the anemia and heart murmur may be related. So she has been put on iron supplements and will go back in 6 weeks to check her hemoglobin levels. If her heart murmur persists and is still present at her 12 month check up, then we will go see a cardiologist. But we are really hoping that the iron supplements and adding another serving of vegetables will do the trick. Thank you all for your love and support! We will continue to keep you all updated. She is still happy and mobile so we are taking that as a good sign.
