First post as Marrieds!!

Hi all! Here it is, the official/unofficial..... uh blog of the newly formed Havican family. Here is where most of the updates of our life will occur. So if you have my old blog address, I suggest you delete it and add this one! :-)

We still haven't received our pictures, but are waiting in anticipation to see them! I wish that I had all of the energy I need right now to recall all of the things that happened on our wedding day, but I just don't. All I can say, is that it was a very stressful couple of days leading up to it and the wedding day itself was stressful as well. In a nut shell 3 cars broke down and there was a possibility of rain at the reception. But luckily, everyone (well almost) was able to make it to the temple and home safely and it didn't rain!! Hallelujah!

The sealing ceremony in itself was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better sealer or for better family and friends who were able to attend. James and I appreciate your support in our decision to be sealed in the temple very much. We were both so happy to have you all there. Thank you!

The week following our marriage was busy busy as we moved into our apartment together. We love being married and having our own home with our own things. It has been so much fun shopping for our new place, putting our home together and cooking meals together. We're about 80% done with organizing everything and we've both returned back to the working world just 4 days after we got married. James is also going to school at BYU for the Spring semester. It was an extremely short "honeymoon" but we're hoping to do something really fun later on this year. Any suggestions for fun and affordable trips, please let us know! We're all ears!

We are also so glad to be joining a family ward. We attended church there this past Sunday with Jared and Lindsey and we both immediately fell in love with the people. We're going to put every effort into finding a place within the ward boundaries once our contract is up in the current place we are staying. (It only goes until mid August). I love seeing all of the different ages...ranging from 1 to 99. I love diversity!! It's such a refreshing change from BYU student wards. No offense to people who like that sort of thing, but I didn't....

So, that's the quick scoop on us. Here's a couple teaser pictures for y'all. They are just snap shots, but it's something! Oh and one more thing...THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our special day. We most certainly could not have done it without you.
